| I see many Y! Answer users hate them, because they think it's all about preppy kids, and they're snobby, and they don't fit, and whatnot. But that's not true at all.I love their stores. They bring a lifestyle feel to their stores. Something for us teens to understand. To feel good in. Sure, their music might be loud, and they're clothes might be tight, and they're models are hotter than most teens, but it's all what's cool. Plus, you're not gay for working there, or having brand name clothes.I think the reason most people hate them, is because they're kind of jealous. They're jealous that they don't have the good looks, the right size, or even the cash to affored their stuff. I'm quite sure if you save up enough, you could afford it, if you wanted it. If you stay fit and trim, you can fit in them. Looks don't matter with clothes. I think it's just plain jealousy that people think they can't have this 'lifestyle'.Correct me if I'm wrong. Tell me what you think about my words

| Why the hell am I gonna be jealous of someone wearing 70.00 abercrombie jeans and a 40.00 tote bag when I'm wearing a pair of 200.00 seven for all mankind jeans?

| I agree with you.. People need to get over it. Everyone has their own style.. I love those stores, too.. And if you dont like them because the clothes are tight you can usually go online to get plus sizes..

| It's not that there's anything "wrong" with those stores, brands. Some people very much dislike the brands or their product or their practices or their policies...AND that's okay. No rule against (yet).

| Nothing's wrong with them...It's all just a matter of opinion.I understand how they say it's not worth it though.I mean you could find the same styles at other stores for so much less.

| Nothing is wrong with them. However, where I am from, those are the names bought by the jerked over (left the fold) amish.

| I think that is absolutely true. When you are dressed in these clothes they make you feel better about yourself. Some people I think are jealous, because the truth is that many people can't affort $50 jeans and sweaters and have so many of these types of clothing. The people that seem to always wear abercrombie and fitch, hollister, etc. make other people that can't fit or wear their clothing feel bad.

| I love their stores too.. most of my clothes are from those places, and I think people believe the clothes are for preppy and snobby people because they think the stores sell clothes only at a very high price, and if someone wears a shirt that is priced at 40 dollars, people will think the girl/boy is spoiled because some people think $40 for a shirt is too much..

| well i think that it is kinda rude how people always criticize the people who wear abercrombie and AE and stuff becuase that is a huge judgement made on them and it isnt fair that you cant wear those kinda clothes and not be stuck into somebody's mind as a snob, or rich girl/boy. but there are really good reasons that people dont have them too...like you shouldnt tell someone to stay fit and trim, and some people cant afford them.

| Well, I love their clothes, but I also think that their prices are way to high. I try to go there alot, but sometimes I just can't buy anything from any of the stores. It's not that I'm jealous, I just really can't afford it! lol But I do have a few Hollister jackets and things, and I love them!! I thnk that you are correct about how they bring lifestyle to their clothes, and I like that too, but they are aslo really thin and not exactly made for all types of body figures.I agree, I feel beautiful in their clothes, I just wish that they weren't so exspensive, I think that's the reason why most teens complain about it.

| I love Hollister and Abercrombie!! There is nothing wrong with liking and wearing their stuff. I don't know why some people have anything against their clothes but i think some people might envy others who have the money and not because they can't fit into it because i see PLENTY of overweight people walking about with their fat rolling over their Abercrombie jeans. And then again some people might just not like the style. Whatever I like them and that's all that matters! =]
