| I want to start using products that can prevent breakage and helps my hair grow along with products that will help my hair when I use curling irons or blow dryers. I heard shampoos with no sulfates are good for you, but I haven't found any that are for black people. Should I use them anyway? Please---suggestions!!

| Kera Care is a great profressional product line as well as Miss Jessie's or Carol's Daughter. You didn't indicate if your hair was natural or permed, so I would suggest that you possibly go to a few hair salons for consultations. Most good hairdressers will look at your hair and ask what your regular hair care routine is and then give you some feedback for free. If you are natural, check out www.nappturality.com.Good luck!

| A lot of the stylists here in Jamaica use Motions hair products. There have a lot of products you can choose from. Pantene also has a line for women of colour called Relaxed & Natural (Don't have any persoanl experience with this, however).
