| If your skin is naturally predisposed to tanning, e.g. if you have olive skin, the only way you can avoid tanning at all is either staying indoors, or else just just covering up. If, as suggested you use a high SPF suncream, you still are going to tan, just you won't burn.

| use a high factor sunblock. however it is almost impossible for the skin to absorb zero sun. i am getting a sun tan on one arm in the car! even though i use a sunblock. i live in malta, and chinese people walk around covered by an umbrella cause our summers are very fierce.
