My nails have white dots and appear uneven?

I had this for 2 years and they wont go away. I tried taking in a lot of vitamins and calcium but they dont do anything. Some of my nails are bent inward at the middle of the nail and they have whitish spots/blemishes all over. I think I have a fungus condition and also something else.What could it possibly be caused by? Would a picture help explain what it is?

It sounds like you might have a fungus. Go to your doctor and they should prescribe you either a cream or a solution that you would apply like nail polish...

try to drink a sink tablet everyday. you will see the difference.

once i watched a documentary about hands and nails (bad tv night) anyway, the white dots mean that the nail is 'breathing'. i have those too. they come and go as they please and i am really healthy. so don't worry about the dots. i don't know about the uneven part, though, sorry.
