I wear glasses and want a tattoo. Will I look stupid?

I really want a tattoo of a cross on my right arm. I have a hang up about getting it done though as I wear glasses (quite trendy ones mind) I don't know if having a tattoo and being a "four eyes" would work/look right. Is there anyone out there who has one and wears glasses? What do you "20-20" vision people feel towards glasses and tattoos?Thanks

Anyone can get a tattoo regardless if you have glasses or not! Who cares? It's your life and your body and you do what you want with it.As for getting it on your arm...I would suggest getting it somewhere a little less conspicuous...maybe your upper back or your hip or something.But wearing glasses is cool not dorky...F the people who say otherwise!

HONESTLY... i don't think you would look stupid at all.. I WOULD HAVE NEVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT THIS... anyone can get a tattoo... tattoos look good on anyone.. if their in the right place.. for example.. you wouldn't want some overweight woman to get a tattoo say on her stomach and start showing it off.. although some men find this attractive.. most don't.. i don't think your glasses are a problem at all.

What do the two have to do with each other? You're getting the tat for you not for anyone else right? Do what you want to do, it's your body. Besides I think glasses are great, I actually prefer my hubby in his glasses and not his contacts.

I personally don't see that it matters, I've got a friend who wears glasses and has tattoos and doesn't find it unusual. So don't worry.

OMG I am blind as a bat..(wear both contacts and glasses) and am over 40 (got my tat for my 40th birthday) and am a mom...If you want a tat...get one...you don;t have to be a harley dude or dame to have one...!have fun with it!

That has to be the strangest thing I have ever heard....who is thinking about if someone has tattoos and wears glasses????? Don't be so self conscious...nobody is making judgments about how cool you look or dont look because you have glasses. I have many friends who have both and the thought never crossed my mind

20-20 here and I think if it something that you care about and you want for you than go for it.However, if you are doing it to be "trendy" then it's lame and you won't want it later. It will be there FOREVER.

Hey Babe U are really thinking too much about this one. That thought has never crossed my mind and I wear glassesand have been since elementary school and I have 2 visible tattoos.... If you glasses worry you that much maybe you should try contacts other than that dont worry about it. Its really not a big deal.....REALLY!

If you want an tattoo that is all that matters. Don't ever worry about what other people may think or say because it is what you think that matters. The only people that would call you names or think bad things of you are the ones who don't have anything better to do with their time. It is not your fault that they don't have a life. I say "GO FOR IT!!!"
