How can I keep my very thick, African-American hair looking fresh, without compromising my workout regimen? I am an African-American woman with EXTREMELY thick relaxed and highlighted hair. My usual beauty regimen is wash and heat style my hair once a week, condition it twice a week; (the 2nd time I condition it, I let it air dry). The result is for about half of the week my hair will be thrown up in a ponytail because I don’t want to heat style it twice a week. Recently though, I moved to LA to pursue a career in acting and dancing, so I want to have nice looking hair for an entire week. I am very active though, and therefore sweat pretty much daily. What do some of yall do?
