How can I get Micro Braids that aren't to big to where it makes my head look big?

Ok, I've gotten Micros 4 times in my life on twice were they done right. It just seems like, they put to many into my head which makes me have a lot alot of hair, and hard to put into pontails or do cute styles with it! So I was thinkin of just doing Single, but those I think ar e too big! What is the best way to explain how I want it done? What is the best type of hair to use? (I perfer human!) Or does anyone even know what I mean? lol

my friend had them "interlocked" I guess this means woven in like a weave. you should get the fine human hair otherwise you're gonna look like New York after a swim party, lol. but they looked cute on my friend and didn't make her head look big. good luck girlie

I would tell them I want "Human hair, braided almost to the end...not quite. Or at least past your real hair". That way, none of your natural hair will be in the way. And The ends are more secure, so it will not be so full.

And go to a "Braiding Gallery"...or Salon. A professional.
