A weekly rinse with this herb tea will also remedy the brown streaking that results from overexposure to the sun, and brighten "dishwater blond" hair.To prepare a chamomile rinse, steep half a cup of the flowers in a quart of boiling water for half an hour. To put those glints in your locks, pour three cups of hot water over four tablespoons of chopped rhubarb root, and simmer the concoction for 20 minutes. Strain it, pour it through your freshly shampooed hair 15 or more times, rinse in clear water and again, weather permitting, dry it in the sun to strengthen the effect of the dyeing agent

i dont know if honey works, but buy beach blondeits not expensive but im not sure where to get it.you put itin your hair when you go outside on a sunny day. its sun activated!!! i use it all summerand my hair gets so much lighter

no honey dsnt lighten hair it is used to make it shinier and softer. basically it repares your hair.to lighten it the cammomile tea thing works. i use lemon juice. i just spray it on in the morning and b4 i go to bed and my hair has lightened in a week. buuuut with the lemon juice i have to warn that it acts like hairspray so its gonna make your hair dry and sticky while its in.for those with oily hair its fine bc it makes it like thicker i love it.and dont expect drastic change it highlights your hair it dsnt color it.
