difference between regular stores and outlet?

theres this big outlet mall in my area. and it has like ae, hollister, a&f. so yea i was wondering, whts the difference between the regular stores and the outlet ones?oh and do they sell the same things as in the regular stores?

Outlet stores tend to sell their merchandise at a cheaper cost.

in outlet stores, everything is on sale or clearance. it is usually not the brand new stuff. god... i wanna be at the coach outlet right now...

outlet stores have all the stuff that regular stores had to much of or couldnt sell it all so the outlet stores sell it cheaper ( =

I don't know what kind of outlet malls Medi P has been going to, but the one I go to the stores are all brand names. They have Charlotte Russe, Pac Sun, Calvin Klein, BCBG...etc. The clothes are not fake. The mall wouldn't let any stores sell anything fake.

outlets are usually a season or two behind. usually less expensive if you don't mind out of season items. Also, some stores sell stuff directly out of the outlets and not in normal stores. Banana Republic does that with some merchandise.I shop almost exclusively at the outlets by my house. I cannot justify paying more. And it doesn't bother me that they are not the latest styles.
