I've heard marvelous things about the CHI flat iron, but I still need a little convincing..I am currently using a Hai flat iron, and I've heard it's the best one out there, but it's still not giving me results that I want. It won't let me get very close to my scalp, and I really need to because my roots are curly and frizzy, and those are the parts that need the most attention. Will the CHI iron get close to my scalp? Will it make my hair flat?I'm also worried about the fact that the original CHI iron only has one temperature setting. Since my hair is tough to straighten, I have to set it on the maximum temperature, which is 400 degrees on the one I have now. I'm afraid that if I use a straightener with any lower setting, my hair won't straighten as well, and then I've just wasted $100! Please let me know if you think I should get this. Thank you!!
