| Yes, caffeine in general is a diuretic. You want to be really well hydrated, drink lots of water and avoid caffeine and sugar. Maybe switch to black decaf? But then what's the point?

| Sugar will cause a spike in your blood sugar levels. As a result, your bodily functions become distorted and will have an indirect effect on how your skin appears. Consuming too much sugar will trigger your body's response into a mode where your body works harder to process the sugars. In effect, your skin will take a toll as it does not receive the proper nourishment from your body.Caffeine will cause your body to move into a dehydrated state quicker than if you were not consuming caffeine. And of course, dehydration never promotes healthy skin. Water is essential to fresh, glowing skin due to its hydrating and cleansing properties. However, the bottom line is, consuming a higher amount of caffeine and/or sugar than normal will negatively affect your skin's appearance and health. Yet reducing consumption of caffeine and sugar to moderate to low levels will not harm your body. You must keep into consideration that sugar is an essential element for your bodily functions. Your body needs sugar. It is just a matter of the amount of sugar you consume. Here's a tip: If you feel like it is hard to complete cut off caffeine and sugar from your daily routine, try replacing them with more natural, healthier alternatives. Instead of drinking a cup of coffee, eat an apple. An apple contains nutritional properties that helps you remain alert and focused as much as or even more than caffeine will. And as always, fruits will always help to satisfy that sweet tooth while at the same time meet many of your dietary health needs, such as vitamins and fiber.

| Hey Sammy,Coffee and/or sugar might be causing your acne ... or they might not. Everybody's system responds differently to different things so what causes acne in one person might not cause it in another. Why else is some of the population lucky enough to have clear skin while the rest of us suffer from varying degrees of acne?!Adult acne is most likely caused by a hormonal imbalance and can be triggered by different things in different people. If coffee is your trigger, then cutting it out would help your acne. Sugar is probably a trigger for many people, as are other things like milk, food processing chemicals, etc.Try addressing your acne condition from the inside out. If your system is messed up now, sugar or coffee or anything else could be causing your acne. If your system was functioning at peak performance, it could then probably handle these offenders without the acne flare-ups.You have a few months before your wedding so you might want to do a little reading up on this. Check out http://www.myfacemyface.com/proactiv...rocedures.html for the best adult acne ebook.Good Luck and Congratulations!Abby www.myfacemyface.com
