belly button piercing?

okay so im 18 and i got my belly button pierced yesterday and now im reading all these stories about migration and im scared. i only weigh 115 pounds do you think theres enough tissue to hold the piercing? what can i do to prevent migration? help please. thanks

yea i think your tissue is going to be fine just eat healthy and exercise alot so you dont have to worry and if you worry alot your scaring your own self.

I got my belly button pierced almost 15 years ago (30 now) and I still have it. I weighed 105 when I got it and my piercest just told me not to wear a heavy barbell and not to stretch it to a bigger gauge hole. Also, use vitamin e oil or lotion around it once it has healed properly. PS.... A tattoo around your belly ring sounds like a good idea when you are 18 but it looks like crud at 30.... heed my advice young one.... Not a good idea... Make sure you stop with just the belly ring!

Sure, you're gonna do fine. I am 35 and I got mine pierced about 3 years ago. I caught it bad with mine, it took a YEAR for mine to heal. Don't play with it or allow ANYONE'S MOUTH on it. I know it sounds funny but people tend to wanna put their mouth on them MAJOR GERMS!!! What I did was mix pure sea salt from GNC with warm water in like a shot glass like a teaspoon to a shot glass then leaned over,stuck it over the piercing then lay back on the bed til the water wasn't tepid anymore. That really helped. Snagging it will make healing take longer, just do what your piercer told you and it should go great for you.
