 Anyone have someone in their life.....? who doesn't like that you have tattoos? I got my first tattoo almost 8 years ago and have four now. My father always ignores them. He doesn't ever say anything negative to me about them like he wished I didn't have any, he just pretends they aren't there. Even if my mom is saying right in front of him "ooh I like that!"It doesn't hurt my feelings because I think it shows he has respect for me even if he doesn't agree with it.Does anyone else have someone like this? How do you deal with it?

| my father is the same way he has tatoos also but since im his little girl he does not want me to grow up that is probably what your dad thinks that you are still daddys little girl with tatoos he now knows that you are growing up and does not want to face the fact so he just ignores them and still thinks of you as his little innocent daughter

| My dad is one of those people like yours. My mom is also one of those that would go "ooh, nice ink...." we even got matching tattoos! Even though we know our dad's don't like it, at least we live somewhere where we are free to make our own choices, as long as we make them wisely. On the other hand, I don't go intentionally showing them to my dad, in respect for his dislike of them. So gratz on your body art, and kudos to your dad for keeping silent about his dislike!!

| my boyfriend doesnt really like girls who have tons and tons of tattoos but i love them and plan on getting more i only have one at the moment ... i dotn really care what he thinks .. if he likes me for me then if i get it he will still love me my ma thinks im nuts but she has no tattoos and is afraid of needles lol which explains why she doesnt like them but she doesnt care i have one
