I know that a birth certificate is recommended/one should be prepared to provide it or some other proof of citizenship if they don't have a passport, but is it absolutely necessary or is there some way to get in with only a driver's license (from NY, if that makes any difference; I had to provide proof of citizenship to get the license)?
