My niece's daughter was born on the 9th of July and the next day the nurse came in to give her(the baby) a hearing test.. What they do is put like a headphone on her and then they put something behind her next and connect her to the machine and it will do it automatically.. I thought it was neat... but thought by doing that would damages their ears but apparently she slept through it but it did show that she was able to hear.. Good luck! Hope that helps.
