am i in the right?, phone politics in work.? i'm an agency worker, ive been on this current site for 7 months. if i get handed a shovel in a ditch and told to open it 20 foot you can bet 2 hours later i'll still be shovelling away. so i'm reliable and very easy to find. i dont take smoke breaks and i use my mobile only at break time, which i'm not payed for. but the management desperately want to get their hands on my moby number which i wont give. they want me they can find me and vice versa. one fella on site has my number a good workmate, even he knows only to phone me if in work hours it better not be work related. but i've been off recently after an accident in work, the management have been after him to get my number which he wont give either. my agency boss has my number any probs they deal with him and he in turn deals with me. he signs my pay checks after all. am i being rude to a future employer, or well within my rights to keep something private that i pay for and dont use for work purposes except the agency?
edit: pirate_princess: oh your right i'm very edgy, been injured in work before and dropped off outside the hospital gates and went back to the same job next day. i dont trust any employer now.
