if you are responsible and follow parents directions you could be ready now. try checking with your red cross there where you live they usually offer some CPR and babysitting safety courses which is how i got started when i was your age and as you build up to watching more kids start asking the parents if you can use them as a reference for future babysitting jobs, parents are more trusting if they can talk to other people who have used you good luck!
