Pros: Fun, energetic, short hair, bark loudly to scare away burgulars
Cons: ENERGETIC TO THE MAX, chew things up, dig holes

Basically they are a good dog to have if you have kids to tire them out but if you don't have time to spend with them or train them then maybe not the right dog. We had a Jack Russel and ended up giving her away after 7 months because she was just too difficult and we did not have enough time for her : (
