Peanut are about 50% fat. If you don't want that fat, don't eat them nuts.

Full cream milk has protein in it. But it also has fat.

If you are trying to lower your body fat, you have to limit the intake of calories... (energy) ... This energy basically comes from carbs, fat and sugar... so to lose weight you eat foods high in protein but limit your fat and carbs. Of course if you body fat is fine, as you say your friend is "ripped" then he can afford to get his protein from peanuts and milk, eggs, chicken, turkey, lamb, beef.
