What are some Chinese views on death/the afterlife/rebirth? Would help if you could be as elucidating and informatory as you can in your answers; I need this for a project due tomorrow.
By the way it's hard to find anything on this subject on Google.
To lufiabuu,
Heh. I've always thought of Buddhist beliefs as being a bit.. er, abstract, shall we say? I haven't fully researched that area, but I find it a bit odd that they believe that when being reincarnated, depending on your karma, you get more choice in what your next body will look like, even though they also believe that life, that you yourself, are an illusion and what you do look like does not matter one bit. Now, I may be completely misinterpreting it, but aren't these two beliefs a bit contradictory?
