I would try something like a cooking spray. Let it sit awhile..may just wipe out. A cast iron skillet shouldn't stick if seasoned properly. One thing I know is you can't wash it in water with soap. If you must do that, you have to re-season it.
Next time try the cornbread in a glass baking dish in the oven.
