I usually make the Mother a baby blanket. I love to crochet. I have also since I had my baby shower 28 years ago, given the Mother something. Like a bottle of bubble bath, or candles, som ething special for her, since she is doing all the work! I have even gone so far as to give the Father a bottle of Champagne and two Champagne glasses to toast the new child. There are also places that write a book with the child'sname being included in the book.
