Sex with a good friend rarely turns out well, as odd as that seems. I've been in a simular situation and while it was akward for sometimes but eventually we totally moved past it. Just tell him that you guys are such good friends and the sex was proof for both of you that friends is where you should stay. Let him know how much you love his friendship and then just drop it for awhile. Have fun and be friends!
