I totally agree. And nowadays parties are so crazy and expensive - parents are spending hundreds of dollars on a kids party that they probably won't remember anyway. When I was a kid we had a couple friends over and had a sleepover or we went to the state park and had a cookout - not a $300 catered party lol.
