It's neither odd nor even. To be one of those, it would have to be an integer (with no decimal part). I always use the ones place to determine oddness or evenness, but *only* if the number in question is actually an integer.I guess if you HAD to choose between even and odd, you could say that the tenths place imparts some sort of "oddness" to the number, since the last digit is odd. But that logic doesn't hold up very well, because you could call it 2.50 and then say the last digit is even. You have to draw the line somewhere, and tradition tells us to draw the line at integers.I hope that helps.
