i know! i'm not tanned at all so i don't really care. yes, i think people are indeed brainwashed into thinking that tan is better b/c that's how our society has come to be. it's just nonsense. i'll admit that i would like to be tan b/c everyone else wants to be but since my skin burns and doesn't tan(for some odd reason) i don't really care if i'm a bit paler than other people. i wish our society just wouldn't care about how other people look so we could concentrate on the more important things. i like to get all prettied up every day, but that's how i and everyone else were raised to do. i hate how it works...
