Kryesore help! need to get in shape by the end of the summer- 4 km a day?

ok so heres the deal- Ive been getting fatter (well not really FAT but I gained 4 kilos) and I want to take up running- I have a gym membership, and on a treadmill Im able to run 2,5 km in 15 minutes. (outside it takes me 18 minutes). the thing is that Im going to israel for 3 weeks in 12 days, and where Ill be they have this perfect running spot thats 4 km. I want to run that everyday, but I figured Id start getting used to it now. the question is, how do I start? Im not really used to running outside, do I take a bottle of water with me? if I do where do I keep it? if Im running Ill most likely drop the bottle. stuff like that.any tips will be appreceated....thanks in advance,Ayelet.
