A question in return...for my answer...did you cheat on him because of his "EX"... "AND" was he still seeing her at the time of your relationship with him(exbf) ? My answer...without knowing these things... it's difficult to say the least, however...Firstly let me say "I AGREE !!!" I'm not bashing, hating or any other form of badmouthing...and I too, AM NOT PERFECT...Personally I don't think that there's nothing wrong with thinking about something good from your past..."BUT"...unless there's a chance of reconciling your past difference's, should that be what you truly want (to be with your exbf) and if "HE'S" willing and able to forgive and forget... than go for it...if he doesn't want to RESTART... perhaps it's time to move on about him and fix the problem's your having with your current relationship, that by the way ...is a constant reminder to you (subconsciously) about you know who?(exbf). remember...you left you know who (exbf) for who's still there... anytime...love yourself first ..."DOC"
