My wedding was also red, and my mom wore a sequined black dress (not so sequined that it was over-the-top flamboyant). It went well with everything and the photos turned out great. Before wearing black to her wedding, check with your daughter though!Cream or beige with red accents would also go well. Check that the accents are close to the same red that she's chosen.
