I have always tanned without protection on nipples or lower area (keep shaved). I gradually tanned them and it seems to work fine without special treatment. I have been tanning year round for at least three years. Start with shorter time and work up as you would any other skin at the beginning. Love to go to nude beaches but rarely get a chance. Wife is afraid to be naked where someone might see her.
