The Super Bowl is the single greatest sporting event in the world. No, the two teams are not always the two best, but they are the two teams that successfully navigated at least two tough playoff games. Conference strength is cyclical, eventually the pendulum will swing the other way and the NFC will be the power conference again. And as far as your assessment of Rex Grossman, we all knew that it was a coin flip. There was "Good Rex" and "Bad Rex." Obviously, Bad Rex showed up. If Good Rex had showed up, we would likely be talking about the Chicago Bears, Super Bowl champions. If Rex can find a happy medium, expect Chicago to win their division again and have a shot at repeating as the NFC champions.
