If it's a new sub-division(new homes) could be a possibility there was an old grave site or people(s) buried there, even if it's been excavated. Is it colder sometimes? Don't be scared of these happenings in your home. They may never go away, I have had many of these experiences at my grandparents & ancestral homes in NZ. Homes that have been in the family for over 200yrs! Many had died in these houses that I grew up in yet that was where I felt at home & nurtured , I feel that spooky cold & weird silent presence & photos falling, some people feel nauseous & can't b in that house. As for your experience, have a priest come thru to bless the house or u can have your own personal ritual, a blessing & aknowledgement of the entity in your home with your family.You feel something, talk to them! let them know u hear them & it's ok to move on, explain to them like children, they don't know sometimes where they are. Yet again, DON'T BE AFRAID! Be more afraid of the living than the dead....saying I was told as a child.
