The 1973 version of "The Wicker Man" is accurate in many respects, although nowadays it's darn hard to get away with human sacrifices. Not many of us have an island where we can be quite so isolated from the muggles. But you must understand that to make a movie that accurately depicts magic, and has no negative elements, you would not make a box-office hit. Enough people believe witches are up to something wicked (note the similarities of those two words in English) that unless you could cook up one where the witchcraft was used to solve a mystery or something, you wouldn't get far.Actually, there are some really accurate elements in that most fanciful of series, Harry Potter. Sorting out the real from the fictional is an interesting puzzle. (Reference below.)I'll be looking at the other answers to this one; I'd like to find good examples myself.
