New York, hands down. It's also the most diverse in the usa, which makes for a more comfortable working/living environment. If you're looking for the city first, over the school, you should mention what type of environment you're looking for. There's also the west coast cities of San Francisco, Seattle - they're more balanced/outdoorsy and less extreme than NY.
